The Dapper Dog has received one of SCAD’s coveted Gold SCADDY Awards for Package Design!

About the SCADDYs:

The SCADDY Awards honor student achievement in advertising and related creative disciplines. SCAD students from advertising, graphic design, motion media design, film and television, photography, fashion, animation, illustration and liberal arts are encouraged to enter.

Each year, a judging panel of respected industry professionals reviews the student submissions and votes for the award winners. SCADDY Award-winning work is entered into the ADDY Awards, the advertising industry’s professional award competition, and can advance from local to regional and national. In previous years SCADDY winners have gone on to earn Silver, Gold and Best of Show ADDY Awards at the local level as well as Silver and Gold ADDY Awards at the regional and national levels.

The 7th annual SCADDY Awards will give students an opportunity to submit their best work from calendar year 2012 for judging and recognition.

The Dapper Dog has received a lot of attention over the past couple of months, and I’m super excited to see where it will go. There has been a lot of interest in the future of The Dapper Dog, and I’m looking forward to developing the brand further, and potentially releasing the products into the market.

The Dapper Dog is a brand of dog grooming products inspired by the most enthusiastic of dog owners. This line is imagined to bridge the gap between the mainstream market and higher end, luxury brands. In contrast to the more serious and sophisticated appearance of the products are the names and product descriptions. The brand features products such as “The Usual” all purpose shampoo, the “Lookin’ Sharp” collar & leash set, and “Swanky Stuff” pomade, for all those pompadour pooches.
